Key Federal laboratories such as the FDA and NIH are located within our borders. Maryland is ideally located in the mid-Atlantic part of the US. We have a highly educated and professional workforce. The state offers a number of tax incentives and investment opportunities for new biotech companies. Maryland is a great place to live with a cost of living significantly lower than the other major US bio clusters.
