Room B

Israel is a worldclass hub for biomedical innovation based on cutting edge scientific and clinical research as well as advanced engineering capabilities. Israeli Biomed startups are highly sought out by global investors as well as multinationals. Jerusalem is the largest biomedical focus in Israel – home of the Hebrew University, Hadassah and Shaare Zedek medical centers and 140 Biomed companies, mostly BioPharma. Facilitating this biomedical cluster is BioJerusalem, a government initiative by the Jerusalem Development Authority. BioJerusalem directly supports biomedical activity, fosters collaborations between industry, academia/medicine and financial partners as well as iniciates startegic ventures in the field throughout the city.
