CDTI is a public business entity, which boosts innovation and technological development among Spanish companies under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. This includes the funding of Spanish engaged companies in international programmes of technological cooperation as well as fostering the Spanish participation in Horizon 2020 European Framework Programme. In this regard CDTI has recently approved new conditions in its funding schemes in order to reinforce Spanish Industry participation in European Private-Public Partnerships related to Biobased Industries and Innovative Medicines Initiatives, both co-founded by Horizon 2020 European Framework Programme.
In the context of CDTI participation in the European EUREKA Programme since its foundation in 1985, Spain has taken over the EUREKA Chairmanship from July 2016 to June 2017). The Spanish Chairmanship has established three priorities in accordance also with the EUREKA 2014-2020 Strategic Roadmap:

Priority 1: Open EUREKA:  Enhancing its internationalization strategy.
Priority 2: Upgrade EUREKA: Optimizing its current tools and network management.
Priority 3: Check EUREKA: Analyzing its performance and impacts.

This session will be devoted to both novelties: IMI and BBI projects CDTI contribution and Spanish Chairmanship of Eureka.
